Biting Back is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting food injustice and providing nutrition education to teenagers. We pursue our mission through workshops, our website, social media, and strategic partnerships.

Biting Back primarily focuses on providing nutrition education workshops for teenagers, but everyone is welcome to join! In addition, we aim to support individuals facing food injustice. Biting Back is for everyone, with no restrictions on who can participate—our community is open to all!

Participation in anything Biting Back related is completely free of charge. We do, however, appreciate donations to help sustain our mission and fund our workshops.

Biting Back is currently based in Los Angeles. While all in-person events are for now limited to this area, we hope to expand to other cities in the future. If you’re interested in helping bring Biting Back to your city, please reach out! We also aim to make our mission and lessons accessible to everyone through online workshops, our website, and social media, so anyone can participate no matter where they are.
