Join the movement
Whether you donate, volunteer, or partner with us: every contribution brings us closer to a world where nutrition education is universal and healthy food is accessible to all.
Donate
Why donate?
Donations are essential to helping fund Biting Back’s in person workshops and for meals that we prepare to fight food injustice. Every donation, big and small, helps us get closer to our mission and supports our community.

Who You Support
By donating you are directly supporting people facing food injustice and helping teenagers, by giving to an organization that is working on promoting education around nutrition.

Where It Goes
Your donation goes directly into Biting Back initiatives. Most of our donations go to funding our food supply for workshops and for people facing food injustice. Beyond this, our donations go to events and campaigns to spread our mission.
Donation FAQ
Are donations tax-deductible?
At this time, Biting Back is not yet a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so donations are not tax-deductible. We understand this may influence your decision to give, and we are incredibly grateful for every person who chooses to support our mission. Every donation has a direct impact on the communities we serve.
Do you accept in-kind donations?
We generally do not accept prepared or purchased food donations due to food safety considerations. However, if you would like to donate supplies, equipment, or other items that could support our programs, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact us to discuss your donation.
Are there any donor benefits?
Our greatest hope is that every donor feels proud knowing they are helping create healthier, more informed communities. With your permission, we also love recognizing our supporters. Depending on the level of support, donors may receive acknowledgements at workshops and community events, recognition on our website, or other opportunities to celebrate their contribution to Biting Back's mission.
